A birthday gift for a special little girl prompted this challenge to create a necklace that looks like the one on Moana. Of course in a cartoon they don’t care how the stone stays in or the necklace stays closed, but a little poly-engineering was required to do just that. The use of magnets and a toggle clasp for the hinge made this necklace fun to create. The heart of Tafiki stone was hand carved by Don Ruggaber and the young lady was very happy when he gifted the necklace to her.
